What it's about

We are always communicating — even in silence. A glance, a lean forward, a long pause. A quick smile that doesn’t quite reach the eyes. The way you walk into a room, the clothes you're wearing, the way you hold yourself. It’s subtle, constant, unspoken. We're constantly displaying our truths, and picking up on other people's, but most of us were never taught to actively pay attention.

We’re taught to focus on words — to speak clearly, to listen politely. But most of our communication is nonverbal, and most of it happens unconsciously. So we miss things. We misread each other. We walk away from conversations feeling off, without knowing why.

This Lifeshop, taught by Bear Rubinstein, is for anyone who wants to actively notice more of what others are actually expressing, connect more honestly, and understand what they themselves are saying — without having to say a word.
