What it's about

Supporting someone through grief, transition, or loss is one of the most profound ways we can show up for each other. But when someone we love is hurting, it’s easy to feel uncertain, awkward, or afraid of doing the wrong thing. We pull back, offer clichés, or try to fix — when what’s really needed is something much more human.

This Lifeshop, taught by James Philipp, is a space to explore how to show up with care and confidence. We’ll unpack the common fears and habits that get in our way, and offer a clear understanding of what it means to be truly present with someone in pain.

Through guided conversation and interactive practices, you’ll learn how to be with someone in hardship without needing to fix it, uncover your unique strengths as a supporter, and walk away with clear, practical tools for showing up with heart in the moments…
