Jealousy often feels so horrible that it lives only in our shadows. But when we can understand it, respond with honesty rather than shame, and work with it (rather than against it), it can finally stop secretly running the show.

What it's about
Jealousy is one of those feelings we rarely get to talk about honestly.
When it shows up, it feels unspeakably icky. So we tend to deny it, judge ourselves, or hide it, but it can end up coming out sideways, whether we like it or not.
When it snowballs over time into withdrawal, comparison, resentment, or constant self-criticism, jealousy can weigh so heavily on friendships, relationships, work dynamics, and how we feel about ourselves.
In this Lifeshop taught by our founder Alex Simon, we’ll reframe jealousy not as some fatal flaw, but as information, often pointing to unmet needs, unspoken desires, or the parts of ourselves we’re trying in vain to disown.
Through reflection, conversation, and practical frameworks, we will try to understand our own jealousy enough to be able to handle it head on, respond with honesty rather than shame, and use it as a compass for clarity, inspiration,…
