What it's about
If you’re all-too-familiar with the downsides of procrastination, this workshop is for you.
Procrastination can look like poor time management or laziness, but it’s actually a coping tool to avoid distress. Whether it’s that email you haven’t answered or something you’re waiting to feel “ready” to start, we put things off because the mere thought of some tasks can be distressing. This workshop helps you understand that dynamic—and more importantly, teaches you how to face it.
In this workshop taught by Dr. Sarina Volari, you’ll learn how to stay with your distress to do what you need to do. You’ll leave with a shorter to-do list, a clearer understanding of your values, and a powerful shift: from procrastinating to put off distress, to approaching to lower distress.
IMPORTANT: Bring the materials you need to start approaching something you’ve been avoiding, be it your laptop, unopened mail, sketchbook–anything you want to…
